We continue our acquaintance with brass parts manufactured by STA LLC, which are made to order for industrial enterprises in Ukraine. Since 2014, our company has been manufacturing the brass case for TRM-11 temperature relays, which are produced by the Bershad Electrotechnical Plant (BETZ). Prior to the start of cooperation with the STA company, the electrical engineering plant manufactured temperature relay cases by turning from a hexagonal brass bar, and from a workpiece weighing 260 grams, a part weighing only 70 grams was obtained, i.e. the rest of the brass went into shavings and was of value only to non-ferrous scrap processors. Thanks to the technology of brass hot stamping, which is used at our enterprise for the manufacture of product blanks, the enterprise receives a finished part, while paying only for the metal that the part consists of. I would also like to note that the specialists of the Bershad Electrotechnical Plant noted a significantly increased strength characteristics of the stamped body of the TRM-11 temperature relay compared to turned from a conventional bar.
