Blind flanges are a solid metal disk with surface turning and with holes for bolts for fastening. Liquids, steam or gases that are non-aggressive to the materials of the flange gasket can be used as the shut-off working medium in the pipeline. For sealing flanged plugs, biconite or paronite gaskets are used.
