Steel transition tees
Reduced welded tees made of steel combine the function of a branch line with a transition to a smaller diameter and are used in the construction of pipelines for the transportation of liquids, steam and gases. The production of forged transition tees is carried out by hot stamping from blanks of seamless pipes of the appropriate diameter, after which the tees are press-cut in special dies and the welding spots are trimmed. After mounting the adapter tee to the pipelines, it is recommended to protect the surface from the external environment by galvanizing or painting with enamels to extend the life of the line.
